The MKDS group moves to Idiap, and becomes the HCHAI group!

Happy New Year 2026! The Medical Knowledge and Decision Support group has now moved from the UZH/HSG to the Idiap Research Institute and has a new name - Human-Centered Health AI.

With this move we aim to strengthen and extend our research focus on advancing AI for health across the biomolecular, individual human and societal scales. Our research group has three main focus areas: AI for biomolecules, AI for evidence, and AI for humans in society. Our ongoing existing projects move with us, including StrOntEx, MetaboLinkAI and GALENOS.
