We are excited to share our latest article, “Implementing large language models in healthcare while balancing control, collaboration, costs and security,” published in npj Digital Medicine!

We explore the key considerations and challenges in bringing LLMs into clinical practice, from data privacy and security to infrastructure demands and vendor dependencies. The paper discusses both closed and open model approaches and emphasizes the need for thoughtful collaboration between clinicians, researchers, and industry.
